Stop the Hatred

Stop the Hatred On April 15th, 2004 fans of Ajax Amsterdam attacked the Feyenoord youth team which resulted in serious injuries. This is a disgrace for football, and those supporters are a bad respresentation of all the fans maintain the sportsmanship atmosphere.

This unfortunate incident hit FootyMania.com, which pushed a plan to raise awareness against racism, football violence and any other negative aspect of this sport. We do not wish to challenge fans from enjoying the competition, but we do oppose the level of competition when it deals with tension that could be taken to the next level.

Racism

Racism is a serious issue. Fortunately racism is declining in football. However, there are times when racism do occur, and must be dealt with. Below is all the information we could find about the subject and football.

What is Racism?
Racism can be of various levels. Fortunately, the violent levels of racism has declined considerably, but there are always those individuals who continue with their racist comments. Racism is any form of communication that discriminates another individual(s) based on color, religion, physical proportion or any other form that differentiates the two different parties.

What can I do?

The first step is to raise awareness. We have put links on this page to various sources that can provide further information. FootyMania will ensure that this page will include all the news you will require about how racism and hooliganism is affecting the game of football and our lives.
