Troubleshooting
-
I get multiple emails despite asking for daily emails
Emails are sent as per category you have selected. That means, if you choose daily of Manchester United, and daily of Wayne Rooney, you would get two different sets of emails for both, the player and the club. To sort this kind of issue, you can remove Wayne Rooney, or change the frequency for the one of them.
The headlines don't necessarily work with the links
Sometimes the sources change their URLs, and as we're not a search engine by definition, we don't do frequent checks to see if the articles themselves were updated, rather we check if there are new articles posted or not.
Sometimes I get emails with the same headlines
FootyMania.com searches headlines and urls regularly. At times, articles are moved and we try to get the most recent location for that article. At other times, the article is linked up with another club, and we update our records noting that the article might be updated from within, but the headline and url remains the same, so we resend that article to you. BBC does that often.
I get blank pages for my links
In most cases, the source move their articles, particularly if you choose the weekly subscription
I've replied to your news alerts, and I don't hear back from you. What gives?
We don't check emails being sent to "no-reply at footymania.com" username. Use the contact box on the left side of the site and that should reach us.
